THE Mercedes-Benz star is getting a polish this week, after 18 years without so much as a tweak to its twinkle.
The change to one of the "world's most recognised trademarks" are subtle - we're not talking here about adding a limb or getting it to spin on its axis.
But just in time for Christmas, the theme of the new identity is "the star always shines from above". Mercedes means it literally, with the new two-dimensional logo positioned more prominently at the top in advertising, brochures and the like. more...
